Biography:

Alan S. Barry, MD, received his BA in psychology and MD from the University of Wisconsin. He completed his residency at Boston University School of Medicine, followed by a clinical fellowship in community psychiatry at Tufts University. Joining McLean in 1978, he has held various clinical positions and is currently a psychiatrist in the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Inpatient Program.

Dr. Barry's clinical focus is on the treatment and evaluation of patients with addictions, as well as consulting with their families. He specializes in treating professionals, including health care professionals.
