Biography:

Nina Lewis-Schroeder, PhD, is a clinical psychologist who leads the adult outpatient trauma/LEADER (Law Enforcement, Active Duty, Emergency Responder) track at McLean Hospital. Dr. Lewis-Schroeder provides trauma consultations to patients across the spectrum of treatment as well as state of the art trauma-focused individual, group, and couples therapy within the Adult Outpatient Services. She also collaborates with various programs throughout the hospital to coordinate specialized care for first responders in the community.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lewis-Schroeder works in McLean’s Dissociative Disorders and Trauma Research Program where she conducts clinical research focused on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociative identity disorder (DID), and other trauma spectrum disorders. She is also involved in teaching MGH/McLean psychiatry residents about the assessment and treatment of trauma and dissociative disorders.
