Does McLean accept employment applications by mail or in person?

No, McLean only accepts applications through the online database. Please click here more information.

What are common search terms for the online employment database?

To search for a position, try the “Advanced Search” feature. Many of our jobs can be found using the “Job Family” field. All Mental Health Specialist and Community Residence Counselor positions (these are direct patient care, non-RN positions) can be found by selecting the “Social Services/Mental Health” Family. Our Research positions (both entry-level and above) can be found by selecting the “Research” Family.

I applied online, will I hear from a recruiter to ensure my application was received?

All applications for employment at McLean Hospital are considered in the order they are received. Due to the high volume of applications that we receive, we regret that we are unable to contact each applicant individually. Candidates can check the status of positions, and ensure receipt of their application online via our application system.
