Overview of Public Affairs and Press Information
The Department of Public Affairs is responsible for providing the public with accurate and up-to-date information about McLean Hospital's clinical, research and teaching efforts. This is achieved by:
- Working with members of the local, national and international media to facilitate requests for information and interviews with staff.
- Overseeing the production of internal and external publications.
- Coordinating communications to McLean's more than 1,000 employees.
The Public Affairs staff is located in the Administration Building at McLean Hospital, 115 Mill Street, Belmont, Mass. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm. The main telephone number is (617) 855-2110; fax is (617) 855-2120. Questions regarding any Public Affairs matter may be sent to PA@mclean.harvard.edu.
Members of the media who require assistance after hours, or on holidays or weekends, may contact Public Affairs by calling (617) 855-2000 and asking for a Public Affairs representative to be paged.
