Belmont, MA - A longtime supporter of the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF), McLean Hospital was a key sponsor during the IOCDF Conference July 18-July 20 in Los Angeles. In addition, a number of McLean staff from the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute (OCDI) served as presenters, including medical director Mike Jenike, MD, and director of clinical research Jason Elias, PhD.
“The IOCDF Annual OCD Conference is the only conference of its kind in the world, bringing the top experts in the field together with patients, their families, and supporters,” said IOCDF Executive Director and Clinical Staff Associate for McLean Hospital Jeff Szymanski, PhD. “We were thrilled to have so much representation from McLean’s OCDI.”
Since opening its doors in 1997, the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute (OCDI) has led the way in the advancement of clinical care, teaching and research to help patients, families and healthcare providers understand and treat OCD more effectively.
According to OCDI Program Director Diane Davey, RN, MBA, plans are already under way to have McLean have an even bigger presence next year when the IOCDF will be held in Boston.
