Program Description

McLean 3East is an intensive dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) program for teens and young adults through age 20 with symptoms of self-injury, impulsivity, depression, anxiety, as well as eating, substance use and post-traumatic stress disorders.

Located on McLean’s main campus in Belmont, Massachusetts, the program offers a complete continuum of care: residential intensive, step-down and transitional care for girls and young women and a coeducational partial hospital and outpatient program. This continuity of treatment, provided in a familiar, supportive environment, reinforces the skills learned while minimizing disruptions in treatment.
