What Is the Foundational Curriculum on Borderline Personality Disorder?

This lecture series was developed to gather together the state of knowledge about borderline personality disorder (BPD) and other personality disorders for students who are beginning their careers in mental health and psychology.

Though education about BPD and other personality disorders should be fundamental in the education of mental health professionals, the current availability of knowledge, expertise, and training opportunities limits young people’s exposure to the information they need to get interested in working with this patient population and further study in this field.

With this lecture series, this problem is addressed by gathering the latest and greatest information about personality functioning and its pathologies, as well as treatments that have been developed to work for patients who have these problems. The faculty are all leaders and experts in the research and treatment of BPD and other personality disorders.
