Biography:

Anthony Sossong, MD, MS, is the medical director of the McLean-Franciscan Child Community-Based Acute Treatment program, an attending physician at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), and on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. He previously served as the associate director for the MGH Psychiatry Academy and as associate director for Technology at MGH at The Clay Center for Young Healthy Minds.

A pioneer in the use of telemedicine for inpatient psychiatry, from 2016-2017, Dr. Sossong ran the largest inpatient psychiatry service for adolescents in the state of Maine from his Boston office. Prior to medical school, he founded and ran a company that provided software development for high-volume, business-critical, e-commerce websites. He is frequently sought out for his expertise in healthcare technology, and has provided consultation services to technology startups, medical clinics and hospitals, regional healthcare organizations, and the US military.
