Biography:

Ms. Davey has been a member of the McLean community since 1985. After working in inpatient and residential programs using a cognitive-behavioral approach, she was a co-founder of the OCD Institute when it opened in 1997 as the first residential treatment program for OCD in the country. Since that time she has served as program director and has overseen several program expansions. Ms. Davey actively participates in many McLean committees, including serving a two-year term as an at-large member of the President’s Cabinet, the hospital’s leadership council.

Ms. Davey serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the International OCD Foundation, of which she has been a member since 1998. She also participates in their local affiliate as the treasurer of OCD Massachusetts. Ms. Davey has given many local and national talks about OCD and related topics, and continues to be active in events related to raising awareness about OCD and related disorders.
