Dionyssios Mintzopoulos, PhD, is an instructor in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a neuroimaging physicist in the Translational Imaging Laboratory at the McLean Imaging Center. His expertise includes MRI physics and neuroimaging methodologies (in vivo MRS, MRI, DTI, fMRI), pulse sequence and protocol development, quantitative analysis and statistics, data processing of large complex datasets, and data cleaning. Dr. Mintzopoulos has published in many peer-reviewed journals and has received a best paper award at ISMRM.

Since joining McLean in 2011, Dr. Mintzopoulos has been developing and implementing MRS and MRI protocols for in vivo studies relevant to models of psychiatric/addiction and neurological conditions, as well as data processing and analysis methods.
