John M. Teal Jr., MD, has a long standing clinical interest in human behavior, specifically disorders of the personality. His clinical work focuses on the application of behavioral models of the mind in emerging borderline personality disorder in young men along with a more broad application of psychoanalytic models in men and women with neurotic conditions.

Dr. Teal received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his psychiatry residency and the Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program. He is currently the medical director of the 3East Boys Intensive Program.
