Mr. Robart began his career at McLean Hospital in 1977 while attending graduate school at Boston University. During his thirty five years at McLean, Mr. Robart has held significant leadership roles in both clinical and administrative positions. His work has focused on developing and implementing residential treatment and partial hospitalization programs for adults with a wide spectrum of diagnostic disorders. Mr. Robart presently serves as the director of McLean’s Partial Hospital and Residential Services. In this capacity he oversees an array of short- and long- term treatment programs that serve adults and adolescents suffering from mood and psychotic disorders, complex personality disorders, eating disorders and substance use disorders.

Mr. Robart maintains an active, hospital-based private practice in which he treats individuals, couples and families. He is much sought after for his expertise in working with challenging couples and families.
