Myth, Interrupted: The Truth About BPD and Self-Harm Course 2025

Experts in the field share best practices to support people who struggle with borderline personality disorder

This comprehensive virtual course is designed to equip health care professionals and families with the knowledge, skills, and compassion needed to better understand and assist individuals struggling with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and/or self-harming behavior.

Led by mental health experts from McLean and beyond, and featuring a powerful firsthand account from someone with lived experience, this course provides deep insight into the emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, and interpersonal difficulties that characterize BPD and other similar disorders.

We also break down the harmful stigmas that often prevent individuals from seeking help and discuss ways to foster understanding and acceptance in clinical, educational, and personal settings.
