General Psychiatric Management for Borderline Personality Disorder: Training the Trainers Workshop

This two-day workshop is designed to teach resident trainers how to train their advisees in general psychiatric management (GPM) for borderline personality disorder (BPD). The workshop is taught in didactics, presentations, video, and role play. The eight main principles of GPM, as well as teaching strategies and common advising dilemmas, are covered. The workshop will cover the generalist model, psychoeducation, getting started, safety, psychopharmacology, implementation, and multiple modalities.
