McLean Hospital – 115 Mill Street, Belmont, MA 02478
The Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) Conference will provide a comprehensive overview of NPD, a prevalent personality disorder which complicates the care of its comorbidities. While traditionally characterized by a pervasive sense of grandiosity, need for admiration, interpersonal exploitiveness, and lack of empathy, narcissistic personality is highly stigmatized, poorly understood, and treated with typically incoherent or out of date treatment approaches.
Experts in the field will present on NPD theory, etiology, and treatment, and attendees will engage in discussion to further their understanding of NPD. The conference will include presentations, clinical presentations, and question and answer sessions. Over the course of two days, speakers will approach NPD from a variety of theoretical perspectives and multiple veins of empirical research.
Tuition fee: $475
Offered by the Borderline Personality Disorder Training Institute at McLean Hospital.
