McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School are pleased to offer this comprehensive conference on post-traumatic stress and related disorders. This intensive, two-day course brings together some of the foremost authorities in the field, with expertise in not just the science of this disorder, but the art of treating suffering patients and families. Numerous aspects of treatment will be covered, including medication management, psychotherapeutic approaches, family work, and neurotherapeutics. Additionally, emphasis on working with high-risk populations, such as women, veterans, and adolescents will be addressed. Diagnostic confusion and controversies around issues such as dissociation, distinguishing borderline personality disorder from complex PTSD, and substance abuse will also be addressed.
