Biography

Alyssa Solomon, LICSW, received her BA in psychology from Westfield State University and her master’s degree in social work from Boston College. Following graduate school, she completed an internship at Wayside Youth and Family Support Network as an intensive care coordinator through the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative. In addition, she completed a second internship at McLean SouthEast’s adult inpatient and partial hospital programs. Since 2013, Ms. Solomon has been a part of McLean Hospital’s Social Work team, working across multiple inpatient, residential, and partial hospital programs supporting individuals struggling with a variety of mental health challenges.

Currently, Ms. Solomon is a family therapist at McLean’s OCD Institute, working with individuals struggling with severe OCD and related disorders and their families. In her private practice, she provides individual, couples, and family therapy to help patients of all ages experiencing anxiety and mood disorders. Additionally, she specializes in helping families with children who are struggling behaviorally.
