Biography
Erin Clement, LICSW, attended Merrimack College where she received a BA in Psychology in 2003. She began working at McLean Hospital in 2003 as a community residential counselor at the Adolescent Acute Residential Treatment (ART) Program. In 2005, Ms. Clement began working as a clinical educator in both the DBT and dual diagnosis classrooms within the ART. There, she provided curricula for patients with various mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, substance use, and borderline personality disorder traits.
While in graduate school, Ms. Clement worked as a community residential counselor at the 3East Girls Intensive Program at McLean Hospital. The program is designed for young women exhibiting emerging borderline personality disorder traits. In 2008, she was intensively trained in DBT through Behavioral Tech. After completing graduate school, she was a full-time clinical therapist at the ART and The Landing at McLean Hospital. In 2016, Ms. Clement became clinical team manager at the 3East Partial Hospital Program.
