Biography
Hadassah Margolis, MSW, LICSW, is the director of inpatient group therapy at McLean’s Belmont campus. Ms. Margolis provides logistical, policy, and clinical support to inpatient group coordinators, as well as formal and informal training and supervision to staff and trainees on group therapy facilitation, theory, and development. Ms. Margolis began working at McLean as a social work intern in 2005-2006, returning in 2014 as a per diem group therapist, float group therapist, and lead therapist for the Spirituality and Mental Health Program.
As part of McLean’s inpatient group therapists team, Ms. Margolis received the 2022 MGB Pillars of Excellence Award. With about 20 years of clinical experience in inpatient, partial hospital, outpatient, and day treatment settings, she teaches health and wellness courses at Brandeis University and maintains a private practice specializing in group therapy facilitation and training at various community organizations and colleges.
