Biography
Hannah Potvin, MD, joined McLean in 2024 as a staff psychiatrist at The Pavilion and to build women’s reproductive mental health services. She received her medical degree at the University of Texas, Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. From there she went to Emory University in Atlanta where she completed her residency training, with a year as chief resident, at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Potvin moved to San Francisco, taking a position at the University of California San Francisco where she directed and expanded their women’s mental health services. During her time there, she trained medical students, psychiatry residents, and fellows in addition to conducting continuing education activities around women’s reproductive mental health. Dr. Potvin worked closely with their Residency Training Program and was an interim associate program director.
