Biography
Jessica DiGiovanni, MSW, LICSW, is the director of admissions at Appleton. Ms. DiGiovanni has worked at McLean Hospital since 2015 in various roles. She started her career as a mental health specialist in the Division of Psychotic Disorders. While in graduate school, Ms. DiGiovanni accepted a position as a psychiatric triage associate in the intake department and eventually graduated to work as an inpatient social worker. She spent time working in the Alcohol, Drug, and Addiction Inpatient Program working with individuals struggling with varying substance use disorders and eventually returned to the Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder Inpatient Program and became the lead clinical social worker.
Ms. DiGiovanni has extensive experience working with individuals and families struggling with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders. She also provides supervision to social workers preparing for their LICSW, supervises MSW students pursuing their social work license, and runs the McLean family support group on Wednesday evenings.
