Biography
Jessica Lareau, MSW, LICSW, is a therapist at McLean Hospital’s Signature Addiction Recovery Program at Fernside as well as a social work float throughout inpatient, partial, and residential programs at McLean and Franciscan Children’s Hospital. Ms. Lareau runs the weekly McLean Family Support Group, is the chairperson of the Inpatient Social Worker Shared Drive committee, serves on the Integrated Recovery-Oriented Practice committee, and is a fellow in the Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) Clinic.
Ms. Lareau also works as a per-diem social worker at Suffolk County House of Corrections, and previously completed an addictions fellowship as an outpatient therapist with Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. After graduation, she earned a research grant to study stigmatizing and non-stigmatizing language of addiction. Ms. Lareau continues to present at both national and international conferences with the goal of educating clinicians, students, and organizations on using updated clinical language.
