Kerry Rivard, LMHC

Kerry Rivard, LMHC, has extensive clinical experience treating adults and adolescents who engage in self-harm and struggle with suicidal ideation. She has worked as a consultant and trainer for various Massachusetts Department of Mental Health programs in addition to her direct clinical work in individual, group, and emergency room settings.
In 2019, Mrs. Rivard became the program director of McLean’s 3East Cambridge Transitional Residence, where she specializes in the use of evidence-based treatments, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), DBT prolonged exposure, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and motivational interviewing. She has a particular interest in the treatment of borderline personality disorder and trauma.
