Biography

Loretta Givens, MS, MSN, PCNS, BC is a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist in McLean’s LEADER Outpatient Clinic and at Pentucket Medical Associates. She is currently providing medication management to adults with psychiatric illness in a primary care setting as well as working with first responders in the LEADER program.

Prior to coming to McLean, Ms. Givens had a variety of clinical experiences and began her career as a mental health therapist working in forensic psychiatry. She went on to work in general psychiatry, providing therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings before returning to school to obtain her nursing degree with a specialization in adult primary care and psychiatry. Since that time, she has provided consultation liaison services to medically ill patients, as well as providing medication consultation to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
