Michele L. Gougeon, MSS, MSc, has been the executive vice president and chief operating officer of McLean Hospital since 1992, overseeing hospital operations including management of capital assets and real estate development. Previously, she served as Chief Information Officer. Her background includes leadership roles in information systems, operations, and finance at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the implementation of federal Medicaid policies in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Ms. Gougeon is a past chairman and current board member of the Massachusetts Association of Behavioral Health Systems and a former Chairman and current board member of the National Association for Behavioral Healthcare. Ms. Gougeon is also a Board Member Emeritus of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay.
