Biography

Nicholas LaRussa, MSW, LICSW, provides evidence-based psychotherapeutic and clinical case management interventions to patients and families in his role at The Pavilion. He was previously an inpatient group therapist across multiple inpatient psychiatric units at McLean and an inpatient clinical social worker in a dual diagnosis program.

Mr. LaRussa participated in a three-year psychotherapy fellowship through the McLean Hospital Mentalization-Based Treatment Clinic. He has advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and psychodynamic approaches.
