Sharon Flatgard, LICSW

Sharon Flatgard, LICSW, is the program manager of McLean’s social work float staff and the lead clinical social work float. Ms. Flatgard provides supervision to newly licensed clinical social workers and is a member of the inpatient leadership team. She is involved in the teaching of social work interns in the McLean Social Work Training Program. Ms. Flatgard has over 18 years of clinical experience working at McLean Hospital on all levels of care and with all patient populations.

In 2019 she was the recipient of a Partners in Excellence Individual Award for outstanding performance and commitment to excellence as well as a Partners in Excellence Team Award and in 2016 was a recipient of a Partners in Excellence Team Award along with the social work float staff. She maintains a private practice specializing in adult and family therapy.
