Biography
Thea Cawley, MSW, LICSW, earned her Master of Social Work from Boston University and has over thirty years experience in a wide range of clinical settings including residential treatment, inpatient psychiatry, school settings, and outpatient treatment. She has clinical expertise in working with adolescents diagnosed with depression and anxiety and adults diagnosed with severe obsessive compulsive disorder.
Since 2007, Ms. Cawley has worked at the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute as a family therapist and conducted psychotherapy groups with a focus on family issues related to OCD and relapse prevention. She also has a private practice with a focus on treating families impacted by OCD, and adolescents and adults struggling with depression and anxiety.
