Covered by most health insurance providers, our day program is most appropriate for individuals ages 17 and older experiencing psychiatric illness that may be related to mood and anxiety disorders, with or without co-occurring mental health conditions such as drug and alcohol abuse. With average participation between 7 and 14 days, we accommodate up to 16 individuals in need of more intensive care than is offered through outpatient services. The program operates Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm.
MSE is located in a recently renovated one-story building in a private, suburban neighborhood. The spacious facility, with landscaped grounds and comfortable common areas, offers a warm and welcoming environment that is conducive to treatment and rehabilitation. Our two private, well-designed courtyards are ideal for breaks between treatment sessions.
Patients in both our inpatient and partial hospital programs follow structured schedules—combining group, family, and individual therapy—targeted at reducing the severity of the patient’s symptoms and focused on different cognitive behavioral therapy strategies to prevent relapse. Designed to engage patients in their recovery, each day is carefully planned with ample time for self-focus, team meetings, treatment, and expressive arts therapy.
According to the National Institutes of Mental Health, 6.9% (16 million) of US adults live with major depression.
