Treatment Approach

This self-pay program provides an intensive residential treatment environment with an array of treatment options, including behavioral therapies, medication evaluation and management, and accelerated TMS protocols with treatments condensed into five days or a standard TMS course—both delivered onsite.

Our program prioritizes the clinical needs of the patient. Each patient undergoes an initial assessment and works with their treatment team to create a treatment plan that is customized to their individual circumstances.

A benefit of the program is the unique availability of interventions like TMS and ECT alongside other mental health treatments.

Our Services

Functional connectivity targeting accelerated transcranial magnetic stimulation (accelerated TMS) is a noninvasive, highly effective therapy for treatment-resistant depression and co-occurring anxiety disorders. Utilizing functional and structural MRIs, reviewed by our neuroimaging expert, we personalize each patient’s treatment based on their unique psychological profile.

This accelerated TMS approach delivers 50 treatments in just five days, which may provide relief within days for some patients as compared to conventional treatment options that may take weeks to see results. Patients receive their TMS treatments onsite and participate in other daily program activities, such as group and individual therapy.

We also provide regular TMS within our residential setting, addressing the challenge many patients face with traveling for regular sessions. A standard course of TMS is 36 daily treatments over several weeks. Our program allows patients to receive treatment onsite alongside other mental health care, maximizing the chances for an optimal outcome.

Additionally, we provide integrated medication care and behavioral therapy optimized for treatment-resistant mood disorders. Our expert team discusses and implements alternative treatment options, collaborating with your regular providers, while our behavioral psychologists offer daily individual and group therapy.

For individuals in the midst of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), we offer direct consultation with McLean’s ECT Service, including transportation for appointments. Patients can benefit from our 24/7 support and participate in the behavioral therapy programming at the residence while completing their ECT treatments.
