McLean SouthEast at Oak Street, a satellite site of McLean Hospital, provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for adults living with a variety of psychiatric illnesses, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Our schizophrenia and bipolar disorder inpatient program offers a variety of treatment and activities to support patients in their care and recovery.

Patients meet with a physician and clinical social worker regularly. We encourage individuals to take an active part in their care, including attending our therapeutic programming, such as clinical and activity-based groups.

Simon Desjardins, MD

Simon Desjardins, MD, MBA, Medical Director

Dr. Desjardins has a wide breadth of experience in the fields of psychiatry and psychology. He has expertise in psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Dr. Desjardins earned a medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed psychiatric residency training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, and earned an MBA in hospital administration from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.
