Is Life Feeling Stressful? Follow Along for 10 Minutes of Yoga and Relaxation
Available with English captions and subtitles in Hindi, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Kate McHugh, formerly McLean’s manager of fitness, walks us through steps we can take to find a minute to ourselves.
If you’ve been sitting too long at your desk, have been on your feet for hours, or are simply tense, there’s a good chance that you’re experiencing back stiffness or pain. A good way to combat this—and relieve tension and anxiety—is through the eight movements of the spine.
Watch Kate McHugh share these simple movements. In a short amount of time, you’ll start to feel tension release from your back and neck while allowing for a reprieve from your work or home life.
All you need for this exercise is a chair. Do not overexert yourself, and if you have an existing medical condition, please do not attempt any movements that make you feel uncomfortable.
