Biography
Matthew J. Mosquera, MD, is a staff psychiatrist within the Division of Alcohol, Drugs, and Addiction at McLean Hospital. He is board-certified in general and addiction psychiatry. His clinical work focuses on the outpatient and inpatient treatment of individuals struggling with substance use disorder and other co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Mosquera’s clinical and research interests include optimizing alcohol and drug withdrawal management, physician well-being, and addressing co-occurring psychiatric illness with substance use disorder for Spanish speaking patients. He is active in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.
