Christopher M. Tangren, MD, is the assistant medical director at the McLean Hospital’s Dissociative Disorders and Trauma Inpatient Program, where he has worked since 2012. Prior, Dr. Tangren was a psychiatry resident at the MGH/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program and served as chief resident for McLean Hospital from July 2011 to June 2012.

Dr. Tangren is presently pursuing psychoanalytic training at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. He is interested in the study of trauma and its impact on the lives of individuals and families.
