Swaminathan Thangaraj, DO, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who specializes in the care of children’s mental health. After completing his training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he joined the faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where he provided clinical care, supervised trainees, administered a clinic, and conducted research on child and adolescent psychiatry to enhance our knowledge and the quality of patient care.

His clinical interests and expertise revolve around the practice of child and adolescent psychiatry. Since 2020, he has been actively involved in clinical work, providing treatment for patients afflicted with mental health disorders. Dr. Thangaraj receives referrals from colleagues locally, regionally, and nationally. He has been actively involved in teaching and supervision of medical students and residents. He endeavors to provide excellent clinical care, administrative oversight, and teaching.
